The solar group 3S with its holding company 3S Industries and its subsidiaries Somont, 3S Swiss Solar Systems and Pasan is the world's market leader in production equipment for the manufacture of solar modules. On 14.01. the shareholders of 3S Industries approved the merger with Meyer Burger Technology AG, Baar. The 3S companies will thus become an important part of the first worldwide active technology group in the solar industry which covers the important technological steps in the value creation chain of photovoltaics from solar silicon all the way to finished solar production lines.
